On the Student Day of Action on Feb 2, 2011 in Halifax, NS, a group of former students wheeled a homemade mock guillotine into the center of the intersection at Spring Garden and South Park.

The demonstrators proceeded to decapitate 3 dummies representing the 3 major political parties in Nova Scotia.

An estimated 1000 students marched through downtown Halifax on Februrary 2nd, 2011 for the Student Day of Action. Students called for the government not to proceed with the 3% tuition hike and 4% funding cut to universities.
