K'jipuktuk (Halifax) - The Comprehensive and Free Trade Agreement (CETA) between Canada and the European Union is expected to be ratified before the end of this year. Many argue that CETA will hamper the ability of municipalities to shape public policy through its current tendering process.

I'm writing a story about Port Metro Vancouver and the Gateway projects (Federal and Provincial), so I thought I'd test this working group as a way to work through some of the details. Below are some preliminary information sources in terms of understanding why this project is being rolled out.
