&lt;p&gt;The tree of life just grew a new branch. It belongs to a group of microscopic algae that were recently discovered by researchers at Dalhousie University. This discovery goes to show just how little we know about the microbial world that underlies all biological systems. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
